The Cold Creek Girls Hockey Association (The Comets) was established in 1998 in response to the rapid growth in Girls' and Women's hockey. The association's primary goal is to provide age specific hockey for girls from the rural communities of Brighton, Campbellford, Colborne, Codrington, Castleton, Frankford, Hastings, Stirling, Quinte West (Trenton), Warkworth and Wooler.


The association is called "Cold Creek" in recognition of the stream that flows through and links the majority of these small communities.
Our teams are called the "Comets" because it goes really well with Cold Creek and it made for a cool logo.
